@mario-evangelista-silva

would it be possible to create a mail2most plugin for "mattermost"? other features are added to the mattermost only with a plugin and some basic settings.

I am trying to use mail2most tgz to upload to the mattermost and I receive the following message: "The manifest for the extracted plugin could not be found"

Hello @mario-evangelista-silva thank you for opening a case here.
For now mail2most is a self running service. But I'm thinking about rewriting it to into the standard plugin infrastructure for mattermost.
However I don't expect this to happen any time soon since I don't have much time at the moment.

I will keep this case open as a reminder for myself and go for it when i have some time.

Hi @c-seeger,
I've had a go at rewriting this as a Mattermost plugin here:
https://codeberg.org/mailmirror/mailmirror
It's currently not as flexible as this plugin, as it can only synchronize one IMAP folder with one channel on a given Mattermost instance, but it could be changed.
I've also taken the opportunity to fix the bandwidth usage (#85), by only downloading the latest messages every time we synchronize (and not the entire inbox).
If you are interested in collaborating on this I'd be very happy to add you to the repository. And thanks for mail2most, it was a useful basis to start from (parsing email attachments is complicated).
