While we have increased the kill XP, soldiers in CI spent a lot of time in CAs, which grant measly 1-2 xp, causing an overall slowdown in promotions, effectively regardless of any changes to kill XP that we do.

Originally we didn't want to increase the XP from CAs to prevent them from becoming the optimal way of leveling, however the current situation isn't that much greater either.

Possible ideas:

  • XP gain increases as the FL increases
  • XP gain is a % of XP required to promote from current rank to next
  • XP gain is derived from base (pre-infil modifiers) CA time
  • Combination of the above?

If possible, it would be nice to have the XP gain take into account how many complications there are in the CA, and possibly how likely they are at base before soldier and equipment modifiers. And since complication chance increases with FL, that would account for it in part.
