Plugins to display tags and tagged Content are missing

I see no plugin or ContentElement to display based on one or several tags.
Actually the tags seem serving as badges only without any further functionality.

What I'd expect is that tags are usually linked to a page where a plugin is able to filter a content list based of this tag, either related to content of a special page or, probably more common, page-independently only based on the tag.
Furthermore a plugin for a tag-list or tag-cloud could be desired, so that existing tags never have to be searched in the tagged ContentElements.
Filtering content based on several tags at once might be a special but useful option.
