I tried installing the TwPatch for widescreen play but I'm having trouble getting it to work. Any suggestions?

Same problem here. Can't enable widescreen with YANBF. With TWiLight Menu++ it's working, but not with the forwarder.

Install twpatch for twilightmenu++, verify it is working. Once this is done, launch the game from the 3ds menu and then hold Y. Your 3ds should reboot and boot straight to the game, maybe with a white screen as well. It might take a minute or 90 seconds but the menu should show up. Turn widescreen to ON from default.
