Yosys doesn't support unpacked dimensions? (ERROR: input/output/inout ports cannot have unpacked dimensions)

This line:

input [31:0]  xwire   [16][2:0];

causes yosys-0.9 to print this error:

ERROR: input/output/inout ports cannot have unpacked dimensions.

Does yosys not support unpacked dimensions completely, or is there an option to support it?

Using yosys from qflow.
