Back in 2013, I wrote to a few agents and publishers, but no one was on board with the idea of printing the book. So I got 4,000 copies printed in China and sold them through Amazon and through bookshops in the US, UK and Australia on consignment. Two weeks after the first edition went on sale, I signed a deal with Experiment Books in New York City and we've sold tens of thousands of copies since. These are the three pallets that got shipped to Amazon's warehouses in November 2013.
