URIs to Images?

There are filenames for the images of the objects in the data, but no (obvious) way to map those to URIs where the images are available. Is this possible?

Google doesn't know either: I checked some of the file names, and they cannot be found:

• 1973.130.279_1a.jpg
• 1995.47A-N_13a.jpg

We added the full URI to the data files a few days ago. Should be good to go now. let me know if there are any issues.

I can't seem to find the full URI to artist images. Is it there in the data?

Ahhh, ARTIST images, very sorry...just re-read your thread... @rkbrasse it seems like we need an additional column in the CSV that puts in the full URI, can we get corrected Tuesday morning?

The first row of WebArtistBioImages.csv includes two JPG:

• portrait_image_113456.jpg is not found by google
• aarons_george.jpg is found at ISI's previous mapping: http://americanart.si.edu/images/luce/artists/aarons_george.jpg. But it's a tiny image that doesn't show the person clearly.

Second row:

• http://americanart.si.edu/images/JuleyBio/J0001165_1b.jpg and it shows the person clearly.

Rich, you can clone the repository, make the change to the file and then do a pull request. That way we know which file you have changed and then we can update the model.

So I've cloned the repo, made the changes and I'm not allowed to create a pull request from my own branch or from master to master.

Sorry, I gave you the wrong instructions. You have to fork the repo instead of cloning it. Then you will be able to do the pull request.
