It would be cool if you could add a Centroid File and PCBWay compliant BOM File to make it easier to make use of turnkey assembly services. I'm personnally not that great at soldering and don't like looking for ICs at all of the suppliers so I would happily spend the money for these services and I'm sure a lot of people are the same.

Maybe even upload your files on PCBWay so that people will have an easier time ordering the PCB and you'll get some money if people order through them.

Hi @sedorr

While I was designing the PCB there were some parts that were intermittently scarce, due to semiconductors shortage. So, I bought all parts and assembled it manually first to make sure it worked before inducting anyone around to error ;)

Since more than 8 months has passed since the last revision, I think that before exporting the centroid file there must be a full revision to make sure the parts are available with PCBWay's (for instance) inventory. This is something I don't have time to do right now.

How do you plan to proceed in your build?

These services will order stuff that they don't have and even find replacements for unavailable parts, there isn't really a inventory you have to adjust your parts to.

I've just ordered a Motex to see if I will still care about it enough to justify the expense when I hve a manual one (I already have a brother, so I don't really have a "need" besides the intrigue of the aesthetic). If I still want it by then I'll probably just take it as a learing chance.

Would also love to make an E-TKT, but get scared off by the electronic part every time I come here 😛

Having a way to easily order the PCB, fully manufactured with components, would be awesome
