Idea for a feature #49
Comments
Or perhaps instead of (or as well as) tags, it can also use groups the same way the graph view does, so that my 'coloured groups' match roughly the vibe of my soundscapes. |

I was looking for a plugin that might play a different music file depending on which tags are present in the currently focused note. In this way, exploring different areas of my notes and crossfading between background music would have the same auditory effect as exploring an open world game where different regions have different ambience. I’m hoping that it can have a subtle psychological benefit for building mental maps, maybe making exploring second brain a bit more tactile.
So for example, if I have the hastag #physics in my notes, then I might be able to have it play a soundscape that is also called physics and I might choose to fill that with ambient space music. Or if I have notes under a gardening umbrella then it plays some nice cheerful hobbit music. If I have two hastags that match, then it can pick one at random.
