Congratulations with completing your thesis @angelblasco! Would you be interested in setting up a collection of Jupyter notebooks where you can showcase your GAP code in action?

A simple setup can be seen at https://github.com/gap-system/try-gap-in-jupyter. It assumes that everything is stored in the Jupyter notebook. Click on the "launch binder" button to see how it works.

A more enhanced version is at https://github.com/sukru-yalcinkaya/unipoly. It has:

  • a GAP file, which can also be used from the GAP terminal
  • a Jupyter notebook, which reads that file and then performs some calculations
  • test files in the tst directory, and setup for Travis CI and Codecov integration
