I travel alot and i have very very bad internet connection in the trains. So i was looking for a way to make the Material 2 Documentation Offline available today... But didnt find any solution. So i have 2 ideas to solve this problem:

  1. Add the PWA feature to the documentation that makes all files of the documentation offline available. This would be the most easyest way i think.

  2. Zip after every update on the documentation the build folder and upload it on the website... But this isnt really a nice way i think.

best regards!

In version 8.2.3, we added a Web Manifest to the docs site: https://v8.material.angular.io/. That should make the app installable on most devices.

However, we haven't added the @angular/service-worker yet since prior to version 8, it had some significant bugs and unhandled edge cases.
