June 8th APAC

• RATIS-1847 Ratis streaming memory leak.
• Qihoo reported their custom Ozone where OM’s backend uses Cassandra instead of Ratis HA.
  They were able to achieve 20k txns per second. And their S3g read from Cassandra directly. Bypass OM.
• Ozone release planning; Ratis release planning.

@jojochuang Do you have more info on the customize Ozone using Cassandra I will be very interested to know more, why and how

I'm only focusing on supporting HBase right now.

Basically HBase has dependency on HDFS and we're trying to replace HDFS with Ozone. For Cassandra, I am not how they integrate. But if Cassandra uses Hadoop Compatible File System API then it should be able to use Ozone by adding Ozone client jars.
