Latest installation on GCE not working

When trying to configure the setup via the VM_PUBLIC_IP:80, in the step 2 (Verify Requirements) the following 3 errors were found:

The directory public://media-icons/generic does not exist. An automated attempt to create this directory failed, possibly due to a permissions problem. To proceed with the installation, either create the directory and modify its permissions manually or ensure that the installer has the permissions to create it automatically. An automated attempt to create the directory /app/code/web/sites/default/private/config failed, possibly due to a permissions problem. To proceed with the installation, either create the directory and modify its permissions manually or ensure that the installer has the permissions to create it automatically. For more information, see INSTALL.txt or the online handbook.

Writable (public download method)
The directory /app/code/web/sites/default/private is not writable. An automated attempt to create this directory failed, possibly due to a permissions problem.
