Accented characters are blocked

Hello, I am using reactive search in a platform that supports Greek language.
Greek language has accents or emphasis tones, so if I type ΄ε the result is -> έ.
In the input form from the reactive search library however this is not possible.
If I disable javascript the issue is fixed, any ideas?

I just found out the solution, I was using the setting beforeValueChange in CategorySearch and the comparison between the current and previous value was causing the issue.
