@heitorlessa

When I try the 1-click deployment method, the build step for backend stops midway and just stays stagnant for about 10 minutes before giving a Build timed out error.
It times out at the following process:

CREATE_IN_PROGRESS UserPoolClientLogPolicy AWS::IAM::Policy Wed Jun 07 2023 06:43:50 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) Resource creation Initiated

Kindly suggest how to fix this and deploy successfully

@sthulb could you look into it, please? I've transferred ownership to Simon as he's been refactoring it for a while

@might-tree I've been looking into this issue.

There's a mixture of issues causing a problem with the build here. Some are simple to fix like moving to nodejs16 and updating the amplify cli version. However, urllib3 only works with modern versions of openssl, which Amplify build doesn't offer because it's based on Amazon Linux 2.

I can't say I have the time to debug this further, so I think this will remain unfixed for the short term

I see, thank you for looking into it, hope that eventually it does get fixed in the long term because it really is a wonderful robust application
