zero ETL: zero ETL integrations should be part of the cdk

Zero ETL is pretty new. It's not possible to implement it through cdk code yet. Zero ETL should be part of the cdk.

Use Case

We have our infrastructure as python cdk code. We want to add zero ETL to our architecture. So far we have to do it manually in the AWS console.

  • CDK's aws_rds.CfnIntegration defines L1 construct for this resource.
• For OpenSearch integration, there appears to be no intuitive CloudFormation resource.
