GossipMenu Empty Row

Hello there,

I'm new to this project and a non native english speaker, so sorry about my bad english. I'm about to create an own NPC. I want to display several teleport destinations (i.e. cities, POI, etc.) and port the player there. So far, the NPC is working fine. But it would be great, to separate some rows, so is there any way to create an empty row inside the gossip menu?

To add an empty row (or a separator) to the gossip menu in AzerothCore, you can make use of the GossipMenu API, which supports adding custom text and entries.

Non-interactive Menu Entry as a Separator

// In your NPC's GossipMenu setup
GossipMenuItems* item = new GossipMenuItems;
item->SetText(" ");  // Single space will act as a blank entry
item->SetGossipMenuId(0);  // No action, effectively an empty row
menu.AddItem(GOSSIP_ICON_CHAT, item->GetText(), item->GetGossipMenuId());

Using a Divider Text

// Divider with dashes (or any other character)
GossipMenuItems* divider = new GossipMenuItems;
divider->SetText("─────────────────────────────"); // Use dashes as a separator
divider->SetGossipMenuId(0);  // This entry will do nothing
menu.AddItem(GOSSIP_ICON_CHAT, divider->GetText(), divider->GetGossipMenuId());

Using GOSSIP_ICON_CHAT with a Blank Action

// Example: Blank action entry for separator
GossipMenuItems* blankEntry = new GossipMenuItems;
blankEntry->SetText(" ");  // Single space for blank row
blankEntry->SetGossipMenuId(0);  // Blank action for separator
menu.AddItem(GOSSIP_ICON_CHAT, blankEntry->GetText(), blankEntry->GetGossipMenuId());

If you want to divide the menu into sections to make the menu look more organized.
