Next time you're updating README.md, consider adding two notes that

mic-mutebar is now packaged for Arch/Manjaro (on AUR - Arch User/community Repository): https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mic-mutebar-bin#comment-960341. And that it works well.
it applies to OS level of muting. It's NOT a hardware mute (if your microphone has one).
