I actually don't really know if this might be a Steam issue or a skin issue. Using the latest publicly available Steam Beta release currently at this time of writing. And used a simple 256x256 .png converted picture, as Steam didn't seem to want to use custom .ico files strangely.

I'm not really sure I quite follow this error report. Have you tried the default skin? Have you tried reverting to stable version? What happens if you select the executable file for its "embedded" icon? 256x256 seems to be a extreme choice if you're just after an icon. You seem to have provided a screenshot of the grid view? You do know you can set a custom image there, is that what you want to do? It should be 460x215 or something like that.

  • Yep.
    image
  • (Well, Since it doesn't produce any issues in the Beta version, Should I check the stable one ?)
  • It actually takes the icon correctly, Like it was by default.
  • I've directly exported the .ico file into a .png file, reason for the 256x256 icon then.
  • Yep, Indeed, No custom image placed here on the screenshot.
  • I wanted to do that anyway, and of course, this hidden the broken icon out of my view, but I wanted to report this little issue anyway.
