I am unable to use the AI translation feature to translate Japanese PSP games. It keeps giving me the error "could not find any text in this image" (paraphrasing, I don't remember the exact wording of the error message)
I checked and I am definitely using the retroarch (libretro) PPSSPP core, and I have not enabled any shaders.
Detailed reproduction steps
Install Batocera to SSD using Etcher
Load BIOS and ROMs
Enable AI translation
Play a japanese PSP game and attempt to translate any screen in it
Details of any attempts to fix this yourself
At first I thought that maybe I was running up against the public API key's rate limit, so I signed up for my own Ztranslate API key and entered that into Batocera, however I still got the "could not find any text" error message. When I got back to my computer and logged into my Ztranslate account I discovered the reason for this. Batocera is not properly sending my PSP game's screens, it is sending junk/garbage data instead. (Screenshots attached below) I got the same garbled screen on all of my Japanese language PSP titles.
To see whether the bug affected all systems or just the one, I downloaded a Japanese ROM for a different system (GBA) and was able to translate that without any issues. (screenshots attached below)
Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.
None, Bone stock install (with just BIOS and ROMs loaded)
Logs and data
"My Translations" page on ztranslate showing both correct and incorrect (garbled) screens
"My Translations" page on ztranslate showing a correctly translated game (Final Fantasy VII GBA)
"My Translations" page on ztranslate showing an incorrectly translated (garbled/garbage screenshot) game (I get the same output on all of the Japanese PSP games I have tried)
