Bitwarden Beta

  • I'm using the new native Bitwarden Beta app and I'm aware that legacy .NET app bugs should be reported in bitwarden/mobile

Steps To Reproduce

If I go to United States Postal Service usps.com and login I do not get asked if I would like Bitwarden to save my password. The same happens with the USPS app.

I just created an account to be able to report the bug here on github. I was not given an option to save my password.

Expected Result

Bitwarden should ask if the user would like to save their account (username and password) information whenever one is used.

I have all permissions granted in the app. Autofill, draw over, accessibility, etc. I am still not getting an option to save my passwords.

Actual Result

Bitwarden is not asking to save passwords after they are entered during login.

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

For the record I have tested a couple other password managers, and they did not offer to save the password either. I wish I could get Bitwardwn to save them all. Noth websites and apps. It is a must if your going to use secure passwords. There is no way to remember them all.
