Put into bowl or container
- Shred Carrot & Daikon Radish
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Sugar
Knead or shake for 3 minutes, expelling water.
Drain and rinse well with cold water, then add brine:
- 1 cup Hot Water
- 1 1/4 cup White Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
Marinate for at least 1 hour. Keeps up to 4 weeks.
In Skillet
- 1 Tbsp peanut or veg oil
- 4 garlic cloves
Cook for 1 minute and then add
- 1 Lb ground pork
Cook 7-10 minutes, then stir in
- 1 Tbsp Chili Sauce
- 2 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- Juice of 1/2 lime
Remove from heat, allow to cool.
Whisk together, then add
- 1/2 cup Mayonaise
- 2 Tbsp chili paste
- Bread
- Mayo & Chili Sauce
- Hot Pork Slices (Capicola or Chorizo?)
- Pork
- Liverwurst or similar
- Cilantro
- Cucumber Slices
- Jalapeno Slices
- Do Chua
- More Chili Sauce
