Describe the problem you are having

I’m having some difficulty setting up Frigate 0.14. I tested it out about a year ago with the same hardware, and everything was working fine. Now that I’m ready to use it for my project, I’ve encountered a few issues that I haven't been able to resolve despite extensive searching for solutions.

Playback Issue: In the History tab, the replay appears in 4:3 format and does not play in Firefox, although it works fine in Chrome.

Resolution Problem: The resolution of the streams in Frigate seems significantly lower than the resolution from the camera stream itself.

Stream Stability: The stream sometimes stops working entirely.

If anyone has any suggestions or solutions for these issues, I would greatly appreciate your help! I guess it has something to do with ffmpeg (see relevant go2rtc logs.)

sounds like camera is h.265 since firefox does not support h.265.

you're using subtype 2 so it is not the cameras main stream

The network tab does not show relevant info to this issue i think. The playback also doesnt work yet.

But the audio does work now! Thanks a lot for your help!

Yes but the files are very small, is that normal? they are <1mb. When i download them from the network page i also cannot play them with other video player software on my pc.

Depending on the segment size that doesn't mean it's wrong, but could. What are your cameras encoding settings?
