The If you just want to keep all motion recordings for 60 days without any distinction between event and non-event footage, the second configuration is simpler and achieves what you want. It certainly can be confusing to understand, and this has already been improved for the next version of Frigate. |

The
events
section just gives you more granular control over when footage related to tracked objects is saved.If you just want to keep all motion recordings for 60 days without any distinction between event and non-event footage, the second configuration is simpler and achieves what you want.
It certainly can be confusing to understand, and this has already been improved for the next version of Frigate.
