.... or maybe it's just me and my machine. Anyway here's what I did:

% sudo npm install -g npm ~
Password:
/usr/local/bin/npm -> /usr/local/lib/node_modules/npm/bin/npm-cli.js
/usr/local/bin/npx -> /usr/local/lib/node_modules/npm/bin/npx-cli.js

  • npm@6.14.7
