Could it be possible to have the "Latency to Broadcaster" number shown somewhere?

The metric is available on the website version of Twitch under the Advanced Settings. It's handy to see how far behind you're lagging.

Not sure if that info is available anywhere in the mobile realm. I don't think the official Twitch app has it as something you can see.
