Describe the bug
When closing the GUI process on Windows, it always crashes.

To Reproduce

  1. Run the GUI
  2. Close the GUI

Expected behavior
The GUI doesn't crash

Additional info

  • OS: Windows 10

Driver does not make a difference.
The "stop running instances" dialogue box behaves normally.
The only noticeable difference is an error message in logs. (but it is possible that some cleanup is incomplete)
