When a gene is searched against for the first time, it takes longer to get back results from Phenotips than when the gene is searched against for the second time and onwards.

it would be great if we can ask Phenotips about
1, Whether Phenotips has a caching system for returning variant data.
2, The time limit for Phenotips Variant Matching API to return results. OSMP can potentially set a timeout for the Axios request here.
