Conversion crashes when active display is shut off. (Display scaling only?)

Describe the bug
Manually power off my the display that is currently running the conversion, the conversion will error out. Upon powering the display up, the windows are resized. Also, in this resized state, all of the menus are anchored to the wrong place (basically floating in space, at a fixed offset from the window position). This may imply an issue with display scaling.

Work around: Minimizing all windows before shut down seems to avoid this error.
