dismissNotificationWithCompletion never completes

In public func dismissNotificationWithCompletion(completion : (() -> ())?) you return and the function never completes

               guard let view = self.isCustomView ? self.customView :
                    self.notificationLabel else {
                        return
                }

You need the completion before return

                guard let view = self.isCustomView ? self.customView :
                    self.notificationLabel else {
                        completion?()
                        return
                }
