Options or Multiples

Options (also synonymous to Multiples) are drones vastly known for following the host's movement path and duplicating produced projectiles of the host. A host may only have up to 4 Options.

They are probably the most important weapon in the Gradius series due to its nature of multiplying the amount of firepower the host has.

In this mod, the Options can be deployed through the means of equipping the accessory that spawns the Options. They can also be upgraded to take up less slots.

Behavior

The Options follow the owner's movement path. Having more them will automatically adjust themselves by set distances, but still mirroring the movement path of the host.

If the host stops moving, they will also stop moving from their places. The Options phase through tiles and entities. Their movement is not hindered and will absolutely follow the player movement. They cannot also interact with enemies.

The Options will duplicate the host's projectiles, spawned from their positions and fired with the same bearing and speed. Not all projectiles in Terraria can be copied as it may cause massive lag, or worse a crash. Modded projectiles can also be copied.

The Options are invulnerable from any damage. They will continue to persist for so long as the host is alive.

Crafting

There are a total of 4 accessories, each representing their positions. One may combine them so that they take a fewer slots while achieving the same effect, however the combined accessory cannot be upgraded.

Taking this into consideration, the player might want to choose one of the Option Types first as they offer more functionalities than the standard Option.
