PHP 5.5.25 is out-of-date

Are there any plans to update/validate this code with a more recent version of PHP? Say, 5.6.36 or later? Or is this project in stasis?

hi @rohn-niaid : We have been working on updating our other software to meet the eol of PHP 5.6 in Dec. We will hopefully be updating to PHP 7 but may not be until the new year. Sincere apologies. Is it that you are currently using MetaLIMS? Please let us know if there is anything else we could help with. -C

I am a UNIX Administration reviewing a list of LIMs proposed by one of our research groups for compliance issues that would arise. We are not currently using MetaLIMS. We unfortunately are unable to utilize php < 5.6.36 at this time. Your December timeline, however, might still work for us.
