FTR, "latest" files/pointers in the GCS are not being updated at the moment (f4pga/f4pga-arch-defs#2655). We should probably have it fixed before addressing this issue. |

Since f4pga/f4pga-arch-defs#2509 was merged, arch-defs packages no longer include
symbiflow_*
tool wrappers used by the makefiles in this repository (https://github.com/chipsalliance/f4pga-examples/blob/main/common/common.mk#L60-L76). The examples will not break immediately, because the versions of the arch-defs packages are pinned. However, in order to bump them, this issue needs to be addressed.The deprecated wrappers are provided through Python package
f4pga
