I was running org.clearlinux.native.5.17.3-1139 on 36220. I installed org.clearlinux.preempt_rt.5.10.59-83 and quickly ran into issues. I attempted to use clr-boot-manager to switch back to the native kernel and had many odd issues, I had to manually edit the loader.conf to switch kernels.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Update to 36220
  2. swupd bundle-add kernel-rt
  3. reboot, errors
  4. attempt to use clr-boot-manager to switch - weird errors

root@ajaxrouter/lib/kernel # clr-boot-manager set-kernel org.clearlinux.native.5.17.3-1139
[ERROR] cbm (../src/lib/probe.c:L209): No device for path: /
(../src/lib/probe.c:cbm_probe_path()) Out of memory
[ERROR] cbm (../src/lib/bootvar.c:L130): efi_get_next_variable_name() failed: Function not implemented
[FATAL] cbm (../src/bootman/bootman.c:L163): Cannot initialise bootloader shim-systemd
