I was trying to edit some pointclouds generated with Gaussian splatting (Github). These outputs are pointclouds saved as PLY files with many additional vertex properties, such as f_dc_, f_rest_, etc.. I can load the files with Meshlab and render them as pointclouds, but I cannot find any option that allow me to save the pointclouds with additional vertex properties after editing. I was running the most recent Meshlab release on a Windows PC.
Does the meshlab team have plan to add Gaussian splatting support, such as editing and rendering, in the future version? Or at least, allowing us to save the additional vertex properties with PLY files?
