I am new to the world of containers and am seeking to avoid a requirement to license Docker. Running podman seems to launch docker compose when I request podman compose. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is this an add-on for podman intended to eliminate the call to docker? Is it free of any requirement to license docker? Thanks.
