What is best way to get all Cosmos historical data from blockchain? #13443
-
Hi, As the title suggests, I am confused what is the best way to get all the chain data for cosmos programmatically. Is there anyway or public source, I can query an API or something similar to get historical data from chain? I am also not understanding if I need to run my node to query the historical data? Thank you in advance. |

Yes, archive nodes (nodes that do not prune), can serve you all historical data. You can either run your own, syncing from genesis and updating binaries as need be to handle upgrades (hard forks) or you can search for a public archive node that offers querying. |
