Failing to install 1.9.1 (invalid form request)

Hi!

After using WebCalendar for many years, I'm trying to install a fresh 1.9.1.
After copying the files to my host, I point my browser to the WebCalendar directory and get the very first page: "Installation step 1".
The session counter works, all PHP settings are "on" with exception of safe mode (which is "off") and I assign a password to the settings file.
Clicking "set password" brings me to:

WebCalendar Error

Fataler Fehler: Invalid form request

I don't have a clue to proceed from here.

Thanks for any help, it must be something basic/weird, since I don't find any google hits on this subject...

I came across this discussion here: #265

And looking up the logs on my machine:

Okay, also I now understood, that latest stable is 1.3.0 and that 1.9.1 is a developer release.
So I try to find refuge in 1.3.0 ;-)

Okay, 1.3.0 does not work either, because of it using the function get_magic_quotes_gpc(), which obviously has been removed by PHP version 8.0.20.

For others stumbling across this problem:

I managed to install the current master branch.
Also importing a previous export from an old version (and another database) showed no problems.

However I'm now getting constant stack traces when trying to see a week overview.
But that's due to WIP I guess.
