Self assignment syntax error inside macro code only when running formatter #15180

The following code runs when compiled, but fails to format for some reason:

def foo(x)
  x
end

val = uninitialized Int32
{% begin %}
  val = foo(val) # Error: can't use variable name 'val' inside assignment to variable 'val'
{% end %}
