Overview of Audi models and API levels

Currently, I offer several API levels in the AudiConnect module configuration depending on your vehicle model.

I suggest you share your settings with the community.
Indicate your vehicle model as it appears in the Device Information section and which API levels work or are not available because you do not have the functions

I saw the new option of the API levels and since all seems to works except the starting and stopping the charger I wanted to try to change the API level. I can't seem to find where to do that. Could someone explain me where / how to do that?

You're close. Click "Verzenden" > modify api levels > click "Verzenden" > check "Save & Exit" > Click "Verzenden"

Wow, that easy! Never clicked on 'Verzenden', just assumed that I would see it immediately. But thanks! Now I can try to see if I can get it to work setting it to a different API level

With charger level 2 I can start charging immediately and stop charging, when timer was set.

Very interested in getting the API for the charging working to set max charging current or to pause the charging. Can I assist with debugging?

As far as I know that is not possible. The only way to pause the charger is by setting a charging timer far away in the future and keep postponing it. You can then start the charger by cancelling the timed charging. It’s the same logic as in the Audi app. There are some forum posts about it on other integrations. But it’s very unreliable.

Therefore I control the charging via my alfen eve chargingpoint. I can control that via HA.

Does the climater work without issues on your Audi e-tron model 2022 ?
I have the Audi Etron Quattro 55 model 2020. The climater with API level 2 does not give any error, but the climater does not work, whereas it works with the original integration of arjenvrh.

2 side questions:

1. Does anyone know how you can load 2 integrations next to each other: the original from arjenvrh and this fork ? Unfortunately, they have the same name and are use the same subfolder.
2. How do you control the Alfen Eve ? I do it via modbus.

I have an Audi e-tron 55 quattro 2022, climater works with level 2 climatisation as it should.
Strange that yours doesn't work. Did you also try other api levels for the climatisation? Maybe it is different for different model years.

I just run

And the climatisation starts after about 30 seconds.

I control the Alfen Eve via modbus as well. By setting the charger below 5A the car will stop charging. Increasing the charger to above 5A will resume the charging. It runs very stable. This way you can charge based on solar power or energy prices.

@bavala3010 I have a 2020 etron 50 model and clima works fine with this integration, much better than the arjenvrh. You cannot run both integrations side by side, it just wont work. I would recommend you start a fresh, delete all of them and restart HA. You should be restarting HA after removing an audi connect integration to remove leftovers.

For you VIN parameter you have to use the device_id. To get the device_id: In HA Dev tools> Template> run this with the sensor name of whatever you've called your car {{device_id('sensor.audi_e_tron_charging_state')}}
