push notification alert shows when app is in forground

I have an Ionic Capacitor app using OneSignal. Everything works fine except when the app is in the foreground and the user is actively using it, push notification alerts still show up and can be annoying to the user.

I want to be able to disable push alerts when the app is in the foreground. I've read the documentation but couldn't find a solution

After 1 day of testin I finally found the solution by :

   OneSignal.setNotificationWillShowInForegroundHandler((event) => {
      console.log('notification recived in forgound ', event);
      event.complete()
    })
