Dansdata is an open information platform for Swedish social dancing. This means we provide you with the data to power great experiences relating to social dancing in Sweden.
The Dansdata API allows developers to integrate our data in their applications, websites and other experiences. Our ambition is to provide API access freely, though we urge you to contact us to discuss options in cases of high usage!
The Dansdata Portal allows event organizers, band managers and others to submit and manage their data on our platform. The Portal also acts as Dansdata's central administration hub and can be used to request API keys and monitor usage.
In Dansdata's social dancing app, dance visitors can see nearby dance venues and upcoming dance events.
This is a monorepo for all components of the Dansdata platform. Individual components are likely to have additional, individual, requirements.
As a baseline, for general tooling and repo-wide tasks, we primarily TypeScript via node and npm combined with tsx. We also use just to provide a "cli" for the repo. To get started, simply run
just init_repo
