Running in different port

From the FAQ documentation:
How can I run DashPress on a different PORT
You can change the default port 3000 by setting PORT in your environment variable

I create a new folder called dashpress, edit .env.local adding this line to the top of file:

PORT=4000

but when I run npx dashpress, it still run on port 3000

Did I miss something here?

Anyway I just run:
export PORT=4000
before running npx dashpress.
