Unlike other wrapper functions, the ones in append_to_stream.r require the user to pass separate parameters for owner and dataset IDs.

To stay consistent, please introduce support for a simple dataset parameter implemented the way other functions do. If possible, make the change in a backward compatible fashion (perhaps retaining support for owner_id and dataset_id via ... parameter?
