strange behaviuor when transitioning from period day to period week/month/etc

Could someone help me with this code?
Scrolling up or down fades from days to weeks to months, but:

1. when there is blank y data on the right the bars disappears, this doesnt appen if you first scroll a bit to the left (so there is no blank data on the right)
2. is it possible to use also year period? seems not supported...
3. how to have a button to reset to the initial position?
4. how to stop zooming in to lower than a day?

Not sure I follow, try with a screen shot

is it possible to use also year period? seems not supported...

The supported periods are determined by home assistant, double check with the standard statistics card

how to have a button to reset to the initial position?

This button should appear ono the top left

how to stop zooming in to lower than a day?

Limiting zoom is not supported by plotly unfortunately

thanks for the reply. i missed the reset button :-) it works!

about point 1: first image is a moment before transition from day to week, second image is after, you can see a strange line in the leftmost day (not the current). this appens only if there are "blank" day on the right, not if all potential bar are present in the view... seems someting about missing data...


PS: 8 june is the start of the current week and 350 is the sum of the day of the current week, so something is wrong in visualization but data is ok

I suspect the problem is that there is no data in the visible range, and then there is a single data pooint but the visible range starts just before it and the home assistant API adds a "fake" datapoint right next to the real one. Bar charts in this case see the minimum x distance is very low and it draws the bar super thin.
You can also set the plot to scatter and see each individual data point that is delivered to confirm that

not working. and i don't see anything with scatter... maybe has something to do with the delta filter?!

found the solution! The problem was the non standard period ranges, using the following works without glitches!

    period:
      0s: day
      1d: day
      1w: day
      1M: week
      1y: month

may I ask you another question @dbuezas ?

I'd like to format the hovertemplate depending on the period currently showed, is it possibile? I was trying the following but i can't find the variable to check!
