Connections get totally confused about what language they are in

I had been working in a local python session. I killed that server and started a Groovy server. In vscode, I went to connect to the new groovy server.

1. In the reconnection text it had something like localhost(Python). Note that it assumed the python.
2. I connected to the server. No problems.
3. I went to run a block of groovy code, and I get:

4. I can confirm that the server is in fact groovy and is working as expected
