I really love the app - great and simple interface, and easy to use. My only suggestion is that for each link I really want to be able to add a title line of text to tell people what it is or what it relates to.

For example, I have a list that I'm making at the moment to do with a infographic chart that I'm creating for the MMORPG Eve Online. The links included on this list typically look like this: https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Living_in_Wormhole_Space and they relate one of the 'cards' on the chart.

In an ideal world, what I'd like the list to look like is something like this, and be able to have line returns in effect between the groups:

Wormholes - Nomadism - https://eve-search.com/thread/101419-1/page/all
Wormholes - Shattered Systems - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Shattered_wormhole_systems
Wormholes - Colonisation - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Living_in_Wormhole_Space#Living_out_of_a_Citadel
Wormholes - Ratting - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Living_in_Wormhole_Space#Running_Anomalies
Wormholes - Exploration - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Category:Exploration
Wormholes - Wormhole Mapping - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Introduction_to_Mapping_Wormhole_Space
Wormholes - Wormhole Gas Sites** - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ew-27FWLQZ8y5kudmpUbM9SAbZma2WmDuOVuAoO-XNM/edit#gid=0

Scanning - DED Combat Sites - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Combat_sites#DED_rated_complexes
Scanning - Hacking Sites - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Hacking_101#Types_of_Site
Scanning - Gas Sites - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Gas_cloud_harvesting

I hope this makes sense. Is it possible?

Gday @cloudwalker3, thanks for creating the feature request!

Thank you also for using Links List, I love that you find it useful :).

As for the feature request, this is what I think it boils down to:

  • Ability to change/add description of links (also perhaps the ability to change/edit the name of a link)
  • Ability to re-order links
  • Ability to group links, with groups having a visually distinct separation between them

Does this sum up what you're after?
I assume your example is replicating the condensed view of Links List?

Assuming my summation above is correct, I have some good news! I'm currently working on refactoring the website to re-architect it completely onto some modern code, which will make updates/new features/bug fixes (hopefully not many 🤞) much easier for me to make. As a fast follower of releasing the new version of Links List, I want to implement the ability to change details within a list (you might have noticed that some websites block Links List from reading meta data, so the main use case is for people to edit those links to have some meaningful data, but the feature will be available on all links, so any link could be edited), as well as implementing the ability to re-order the list.

As for grouping, it's in the backlog of features, but it won't arrive as quickly as editing/re-ordering.

This is all part of my larger goal to create a premium offering of Links List, with even more features!

How does that all sound? Anything I missed?
