hi is it possible to export the image output as a grob object so that it can be used with plot_grid()?

Hi @GerardYu, sorry for the late reply, that's currently not possible.

I have never heard of a grob object. From a quick google search it seems that grob and plot_grid are related to ggplot. The fsbrain package does not use ggplot in any way. If a grob object is some standard thing and you can provide some docs, I could have a look. But the final image that is exported from fsbrain is just a png file, cut from several images with imagemagick to remove the white space around each tile.

It sounds to me like maybe one could export individual tiles to grob at best. This could be possible with the ggplotify package, but I'm not sure since we plot in 3D, using rgl, not using the standard R 2D plotting functions.
