Hey, I followed the link you provided and it says version0.6 still & that it has not been updated since 2017. Where are you finding version 0.7? |
try https://drive.google.com/file/d/1asqDgnvu-EU1ybaCfsQ497W0m85u75Ki/view in general these links are posted by the author of the plasmoid in the discussion at store.kde.org |
Does anyone know if version 0.7 has support for temperature monitoring for the new AMD Ryzen 7 4700U CPU - the kernel support for AMD Zen 2 Ryzen 4000 series temperature monitoring is already in kernel 5.8 and k10temp has Tdie and Tctl, but that is not showing up in the released version of the Simple System Monitor plasmoid at least for an up to date Arch Linux system. If not does anyone know what needs to be changed in the existing code to make these two temperatures show up in the display? Certainly running the sensors command in a konsole window gives the temperatures for Tdie and Tctl. I have tried version 0.7 and it does not show the CPU temp despite the sensors command output showing Tctl: +37.5°C and Tdie: +37.5°C. (the numbers change depending on CPU activity) |
Hi @KonstantinShtepa , @dhabyx , @SeeLook , @Antares95 Is this project still alive? I see there are 15 PRs waiting for review and merge and some ofthem are quite old. Thanks, |
Hello,
there is v0.7 available at https://store.kde.org/p/1173509/ - is it an official release (a link to google docs posted to the discussion thread as the download location)? Code here on github is v0.6 as of 28th June 2020, v0.7 has some nice new features (disk, network usage etc.)
thanks
