No matter whether I select a folder or a file, the button remains disabled and cannot be clicked.

Thank you for reporting the issue and apologies it took me a while to come back (it's because I don't normally use Windows).

I couldn't reproduce the issue :( (IntelliJ 2024.3.1.1, Windows 11)
But the run button is likely to be disabled because LivePlugin thinks there are no plugins in the folder.

Do you use a non-default location for IDE files by any chance? 🤔
(You can find the actual path by, for example, doing ctrl+shift+C on any file/folder in the LivePlugin tool window. On Windows I have it in %HOME%\AppData\Roaming\JetBrains\IntelliJ2024.3\live-plugins...)
